Team Blew setup April 09

Post by Steve Ekstrand »

Hey TB'rs!

I heard you guys are setting up on Friday afternoon. What time? I'd like to get a jump on unloading and converting the trailer and laying out the kart course. Hoping it doesn't rain on us... :(

You're right, big change from this morning. Looking dry tomorrow afternoon and great for the weekend...
Hope it doesn't get too warm... 3 drivers on my Toyos in one heat and I may be driving on the rims. :x

We lost a silver w/ orange outline "1" at nationals in 2007.
It showed up at their divisional like 9 months later.... After Runoffs and an NHRA race amongst other big events.
Crazy.

Hey guys,

You're going to have to postpone that 1:00pm set up time. We will have some stuff going on starting 2pm and I'm not sure until when but it shouldn't be too late. You guys need to call me before arriving to El Toro and wait till you got the green light. Sorry about the late notice. Last minute details.

Dood, are you gonna eat that?

OK ... left a message with Pete and talked to Greg. I'm hoping your cell number is the same.

Perhaps you can call one of us, Pete, Greg or myself when you know when we can show up. It sounds like you want us to wait off site?

Burger place next door to the La Quinta

Pete,

Bring two of your tires down today and two tomorrow morning. You can finish the hitch install tomorrow night if you don't have time tonight.

Or, if worse comes to worst, we can move your tires to my house Sunday afternoon and you can pick them up later. I'm about 5 minutes north of El Toro at Tustin Ranch.

No worries, I am bringing them in my STI today, coming home tonight, switching cars, should be fine.

Getting them home is the variable. The hitch insatall is very close to being done.

Pete I could probably help you bring your tires back assuming you don't live 1,000 miles away? I'm in Downey btw.
