jesus.. talk about bad karma:

excerpt from wiki
On April 1, 2009, four teenage males approached Luttrell's property and fatally wounded his dog, Dasy, with a .357 Magnum revolver at approximately 1 A.M.

Each letter of the name "Dasy" represents one of the fallen members of his team. She was given to him in recovery to help him through rehabilitation.

Luttrell proceeded to follow the individuals through three counties in his truck -- apparently armed with two 9 mm Berettas -- until Onalaska Police apprehended the individuals. Upon arrest, the suspects verbally threatened Luttrell's life and taunted him. Alfonso Hernandez was arrested on-scene and charged with animal cruelty whilst Michael Edmonds has not yet been charged. On April 7, he turned himself in, was booked, and posted his bail. The other two individuals were not charged. The males are believed to also be behind the killings of other neighborhood canines.
these kids probably won't get punished in any long lasting way, but i hope their actions earn them enough negative karma that they suffer the rest of their life.

After my mother's murder, I realized that with street scum like this revenge isn't worth it. These animals aren't thinking caring knowing individuals. There are just brainless mutts roaming dumpsters til they meet their end. The sad reality we live with is that sometimes they take innocents out with them along the way. To kill one of them would just put them out of their misery and hopelessness. But still the thought the harm they bring the world might be stopped is tempting.

I was having trouble with my computer so I called Aaron, the 11 year old next door whose bedroom looks like Mission Control, and asked him to come over.

Aaron clicked a couple of buttons and solved the problem.

As he was walking away, I called after him, 'So, what was wrong?'

He replied, 'It was an ID ten T error.'

I didn't want to appear stupid, but nonetheless inquired, 'An ID ten T error? What's that? In case I need to fix it again.'

Aaron grinned. 'Haven't you ever heard of an ID ten T error before?'

'No,' I replied.

'Write it down,' he said, 'and I think you'll figure it out.'

So I wrote down: I D 1 0 T

I used to like the little sh#$.

Alright, Mike. I need to know what you were searching for when you ran across this. Do you have a pirate fetish or something?

Well, you asked. Remember: I'm the 2009 ADD Poster Child.

I was confirming spelling of "terradactyl" for an e-mail response to KJ and a link showed up for a life sized statue. I followed that. Then I followed another link to Fun Furniture - they have hand, egg and apple chairs! - then noticed another link for Statues.

And *that* is where I saw the greatest example of stupid products I've seen in months: a "life size" inanimate pirate that cleans out your bank account just like the real ones. I predict that website isn't around in 18 months...

speaking of weird searches.

yesterday (i guess the day before now), cal poly pomona had a scare on campus because someone was spotted, wearing all black, with a samurai sword. police were notified, and an alert was sent out to the students.

http://images.briefcomp.com/ninja_scare.wav" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

turns out, the guy was carrying a Katana Umbrella.

getting back to searches... since i had never seen this before, i googled for images. . if you type in google "katana umbrella".. the first link is under sankakucomplex.. my work blocked the site as "pornography", which, is dumb, because it blocks sites like RAAM audio as pornography.. >_<

but yeah, i went home and looked at the site.. :o
