Thanks GRA !

Post by Mako Koiwai »

Not only did they provide another excellent weekend of racing, they kept the rain at bay on Saturday and provided near perfect weather on Sunday. They ALSO stuck it out to not only provide $2 Fun Runs ... THEY worked the course for us Fun Runners! Thank you very much for that welcomed touch!

Another nice touch that I think should be incorporated for future events: Hand washing station. Really, a welcome little luxury!

I agree. A very enjoyable and relaxed weekend. The coffee and muffins are always a welcome touch at GRA events. Well done.

Too bad Mako didnt have his camera fired up for the fun runs. I would have had to buy one of those.

Agree, that was nice, but due to the limited amount of water and towels, usually doesn't last very long. How did it do this weekend?

As an alternative, Costco baby wipes are inexpensive and keeps me smelling fresh all weekend long. 8-)

This was the first Championship event for my kids and they had a great time. Thanks to GRA and the folks in the 4th group for their patience. They may be running 100+ second laps now but that won't last long! Their Great-Grandma was there to watch, too!

Here's Cyan, ready to rip! The fist pump at the end of her fastest run said it all.

But Tom ... I did run and grab my camera!

So you CAN buy the photograph! You have 24 hours to PayPal me $100 ... before I send this photo out over the Net ... SCCA Forum, the prestigious National Champions Club and the very elite Five Or More Championships Society!

Looks like you finally met your Match!

NIce! I love the full-frame shot of the driver. That must be very helpful.

Did anyone find a black Moroso tire pressure gauge? I think I left it in grid. Also, my times aren't listed in the results, only my x runs. I ran in NOV ES with the 91 yellow mr2.

Your best bet for the lost gauge is to check the Lost & Found in the Trailer at the next event.
I left my tire gauge on grid and it was in the Trailer the next event.

I put one in the trailer. Don't know if it was Moroso or not.
When you enter the MH go straight ahead to the table, look on your left. We also found a folding chair and a hat or two.

It was amazing to see the car properly driven. In between your driving, the car's feedback and the times the car was capable to run, I had the most fun at an autoX in ages. Now I know why they call them fun runs.

NICE video quality!

What system are you using?

In the 2nd run, you reach over and down to what looks like make an adjustment? Did you? ... what did you adjust?

PM sent on GT3 set-up per Gary T's suggestion

Actually I washed my hands before I left @ 3:30 on Sunday. One side was empty, but the other still had water and towels. Maybe it lasted because it was not as close to grid?

Fixed.
