Mr. Brawn is THE Man ... no wonder Schumi and Ferrari did so well during their heydays

there's bench racing (strategery), and behind-the-wheel racing.

Brawn is probably one of the best strategists in the sport, but you really need to couple him with someone like schumacher to get the max benefit.

they touched upon this with Rubins on his 3 stop strat, and how shumacher would be able to turn lap after lap of blistering pace for 15+ laps and basically MAKE the strat work.

there's not many drivers that can perform at 100%, 100% of the time. I don't really like Hamilton, but i think he's one of those drivers that can probably achieve this.

Come on now... Be nice. With Massa running out of gas and idling around the course due to... oh a Ferrari miscalculation... He did manage to DOUBLE the number of Ferrari manufacturer points for 3 to 6.

Hamilton just scares me when he turns into the pits.... End of stage 2 Qualifying did you see him pissed off and whipping it into the pit lane? Crap. I'd say he was good if he hadn't already cost himself a world championship whipping it all crazy into a pit lane.

You're forgetting what Alonso does to get heat in the tires on the formation lap or behind the safety car.

Something very similar to how my dad used to cure the hiccups.

During the heyday at Ferrari, it was a three-headed beast: Todt, Brawn and Schumacher. Now all are gone, and "Ferrari guys" with Italian last names are running the show. The results speak for themselves and won't change -- no matter how much money is thrown at the problem -- until another dream team is assembled.
