I think you are mistaken.... He has 11 Runoffs championships, winning as recent as 2007 in SSC, with the first win being in 1993 GT1. Last year was the first time he did not go to the Runoffs in a very long time. He also has 239 pro races under his belt... So I am at a loss as to when he was "retired".
