I have a friend who had one of those in high school. One time, three of us piled in and drove to Mammoth to meet some friends and go skiing. We ended up having to take a detour on a really windy, four-lane mountain highway, and semis were passing us at 75-80 mph. Every time one passed, we almost got blown off the road by the wind wash from the trailers. When we got there we all kissed the ground ad I never got in that damn thing again. :unimpressed:

How cool! Thanks for posting the link... So many of their coolest vehicles - ol' man Soichiro is looking down proudly. The mint Transalps caught my eye - as did the N600. The Express moped brought back memories of a friend's ride. A guy at Webb's Farm Supplies has a Reflex - those 200CC 2V motors are just wonderful, I still look for an '83-84 XL200R to replace the one I crashed.

True - my first motor vehicle was a '77 Z50 that I bought from a kid in jr. high for $100. Totally freaked my mom out when I brought it home. Delivered a LOT of newspapers...before I bought it. Fun times. Traded it and $250 for an '81 CR80 that should've killed me but didn't. The Z50 today is worth a grand in mint condition. The CR80 might be worth $50.

About the only thing conspicuously missing from the line up is (my current '93) XR250L. That and an ATC90...that thing could probably pull logs out of the forest!

Another true story. We used to air up the tires in our ATC90 to where they'd float easily. Just drive into a pond and stay on the gas - steering works and you just drive right across. As long as you don't roll it over - my sister did once and I got to rebuild the motor after it had a little too much to drink.

I doubt it unless he/she was pushing/paddling it....no chain, no spark plug wires ... looks like a work in progress It's a 750 Honda engine ... '69-77 vintage. Interesting two carb set-up since there originally was 4 carbs....radical bikes in their day. I used to have a '73. Fun times.

That one was a little scary. It was definitely a work in progress.I think it had twin Mikunis through dual manifolds.
I built a Honda 750 rigid chopper back in the 70s with a buddy.
Looked cool , but a little hard on the kidneys. Probably couldn't ride it a whole mile these days.

That's what I call a naked bike! Not sure there is enough frame there to handle that much engine for any length of time. Funny, when I first looked at it, can't see the left handle bar, looked like a one armed machine.
