Up for sale is my beloved 1991 NA MR2, "Mindy". Located in Long Beach, California. Clean Title. No Rust. Non Smoker. Mileage is unknown, the speedometer wasn't functioning when I bought her from the previous owner. She was at 96,904 when the keys were handed to me. This is a common problem with MR2s ranging between 91'-92'. She has just passed smog, 03/26/2009. She is 2010 tagged and is registered till May 2011.
Engine and body wise she is stock. T-Top, 5 speed, No ABS, Cruise control, Power locks, Power windows, and Manual Steering. There was power steering, but I swapped it out with a Manual Rack. I've replaced both inner and outer tie rods on both side, so it's a refreshed rack. Steering is as crisp and precise as it gets.
The car does not pull to the left or right, she drives straight. The steering wheel is centered and the alignment is at stock specs.
I really baby my car, but I have taken her to a few Autocross events and she is a blast to drive around the corners.
The A/C blows cold.
On May 21, 2009 I got into a little accident which caused the front bumpers paint to chip off. No frame damage. Bumper was repainted on June 5, 2009.
**Recent Maintenance (Less than 3k miles):
- Oil change (5w-30, I change the oil every 3 months).
- New Battery.
- New OEM Air filter.
- New Spark Plugs.
- New OEM Spark Plug wires.
- New OEM Cap and Rotor.
- New OEM Fuel Filter.

- New Red Toyota Long Life Coolant. Flushed the system on May 17, 2009

- New Pads all around. OEM in the front and Porterfield R4-S brake pads in the rear.
- New ATE super blue dot 4 brake fluid.
- New Twos R Us Inner tie rods (Both sides).
- New Twos R Us Outer tie rods (Both sides).
- 4 wheel Alignment, set to stock specs.
Engine / Exhaust
Everything from the tip of the exhaust to the filter in the intake is stock.
Transmission:
The transmission shifts smoothly. There are no grinds and the gears do not pop out.

Exterior:
The exterior is tastefully upgraded to the 93' spec.

Interior:
The interior is in decent shape for an old car. There is a minor imperfection on the dash. The drivers seat has a rip on the side.. There are little scuff marks on the glove box.

Tires / Wheels:
Right now the stock 91' wheels are installed. Wrapped in 195/60R14 Falken Azenis RT-615 all around.

- A set of rare chrome 300zx twin turbo wheels. Looks way better on a 2 than a Z if you ask me! Also includes 20 Muteki Open Tuner Lugs with key. Tires have
less than 3,000 miles on them. The RR tire had a bubble in the sidewall and I had it replaced, so it is 3 months newer than the others.

I tried replacing the Timing belt. I had the upper timing cover off, I inspected the belt and thought to myself, "it looks good, but lets replace it anyways since I'm this far." That is when I couldn't take the crank pulley bolt off. The timing belt is in good shape. No cracks and no signs of it being worn out. The waterpump also did not have any signs of leakage. Front seals look good because it was not wet inside the covers.

The Bad:
- The previous owner painted only the outside black and it's peeling at places, I give it a 6/10. The car was originally Crimson Red.
- The Distributor seal is leaking just a little bit. I'm going to try and get this fixed before the car is sold.
- Driver side T-top leaks just a little bit. Nothing that will soak the interior or anything.
- There is a small dent on the driver side fender.
- Aside from not having the speakers, the front speakers do not work.
- No Antenna.
The reason I'm selling her is because I think it's time for me to buy a "newer" car.
