Since Piloti Spyder SV's are no longer available ...

Post by Mako Koiwai »

... suggestions for a light weight, easy on/off AX driving shoe.

I talked to a US Piloti importer, and they had no idea why the Spyder SV was discontinued, because it WAS very popular.

The elastic pull cords on the Spyder were brilliant!

Amazon has those for sale, Mako.

On a similar note, what model Piloti works best with someone with a wide foot?!

Uh.... Brooks.... Oh yeah... Not a Piloti. I think Piloti's are made for ghey little Euro metrosexuals.

Importer? maybe that's your problem. You're buying foreign knock offs.

Piloti is a US company, based in west lake village, CA.

Jason and I just purchased some Piloti's at ROSS for $20.00! I actually went to two ROSS's in my area to checkout their selection. The ROSS on lake in Pasadena has them and so those the one in Hastings Ranch. I have not check the nice ROSS in La Canada Flingridge. If I get a chance today or when I get off work I can check if anyone one is interested. Let me know.

Thanks ... please do, but we're just interested in the Spyder's with the elastic shoe "strings."

I stopped by the La Canada Flintridge store and they had no Spyder's, they only carried one type. I took a picture of it with my cheap little camera, so excuse the blurriness. My camera really sucks! I should have not bought it from Big Lots!

I also found a nice pair for you at $12.95, which you can sport in the next event. Somehow my camera was able not to blur on these shoes.

The other ROSS's in the Pasadena area had a better selection if anyone wants some, however no Spyder's.
