Pain in the A$$ to Find Results

Post by Scott Lewis »

Where the heck are the results from the July 26th event??? Not being a regular, I guess I am not worthy of knowing. You would think it would be pretty easy to find.
Sure, you have a site that shows the little checkered flags, click those right? Ok... Where are they?

Not here!

After logged in, no results still.

Wow, what an amazing introductory post. Nice to meet you. You will find your results here: viewforum.php?f=27" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

We really need to find a way to make that forum more visible.

Scott-

You have to AXWhere the results are!

Yeah its a controversy in the region. We are moving the reg and results stuff to Axwhere, the problem is we don't maintain on the front page links to it.
https://axwaresystems.com/axorm/calendar_main.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

To solve the results issue the mods created a cool results subforum under Events called.... Events Results.... (edit note: Mod just moved Event Results out of its "sub" position so its easier to find on the Board Index)
viewforum.php?f=27" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I really like that page, but again, you have to prowl through the Board Index to find it.

Results are usually up within 24 hours.

Ok, I moved the results forum so it's right up under events.

Psssst...bad links on the new Event Results section. Probably changed the heirarchy when you made it it's own section.

Whoops...meant to be more specific and say it was in the Overall Results section, but it looks like you already fixed it. BTW, did anyone notice that CASOC is still in the lead :thumbup:

The biggest difference between PSCC and CASOC is not talent. It's that you care...

...don't forget that the CC in PSCC really stands for "Country Club"...

Good work Scott! Great first post! You found them! Now, find the run order for the next event.
When you've done that, see if you can find a way to view new posts without wading through the political forums.

In the old days you wrote your name and address on an envelope at registration and then waited a couple weeks for a xerox of the results to come in the mail. We are so f-ing spoiled today.

Will Kalman's deceptively titled thread in PP proposing a "new local class" is an excellent example of why your suggestion is not working for me.

Asking questions in this manner after just being a newbie for the very first time entering in an event will surely get you noticed by the powers that be for the very wrong reasons (i.e. you "may not" get into a practice). why? Because of the attitude.
