That being said, I got a few checks in the past coupla days for only $60 and without the "August 22nd Practice" on the memo line per the flyer. Those went straight to the shredder...

Due to the sudden rash of e-mails and PMs I’ve just received, let’s go over some old and new rules here:

1. Do not come to my house with your check.
2. Do not send the check to my house using anything but a stamp and regular US mail.
3. Read numbers 1 and 2 again and nod that you understand.
4. Do not send an e-mail or PM asking if there is room.
5. Do not send an e-mail or PM asking if I have your check.
6. Do not send any more pics of naked women in your envelopes ;)
7. Do not use the words “seat time” trying to persuade me.
8. Do not taunt Happy Fun Ball.

I will update the list daily, except Saturday and Sunday as I will be at the beach. Those updates will let you know where you stand and how many entries are left. If you don’t see your name, I don’t have your check…yet.

It’s not so much that I’m trying to be a jerk here but I’ve been looking at envelopes, e-mails, PMs, checks and spreadsheets for a month now. I’m starting to get a little shellshocked.

Unlike the first event you attended which was hosted by your club, this one is hosted by the region. When you get to the event site, go to registration. It's there you'll sign up for a work group. You probably won't get your work assignment until you check in for work.

It is weird. Jamie's check from San Diego came less than 24 hours after I posted the flyer. Curtis Lee's came 2 days after, from Hawaii. Most stuff I get from OC and LA is 3 days plus. Go figure...

Hey Curt, not sure if it realy matters, but there is one more correction on the list of names when you have time.
Robert Summers should be changed to Brent Amick.
Brents name should be hand written on the check. If the name doesn't matter then don't bother.

Some people use the memo line, some people send a note. Sometimes beer gets spilled on the notes...
