The face tones of Mako's adjustments look right on my monitor, but the sunset has lost character. I spent quite a bit of time calibrating my primary monitor by eye using the ColorSync tool.

Here are both versions together ... the to original one is too dark for a wedding photo imo ... omm (on my monitor :-) The lower version's sunset looks realistic to me.

Sure, we all have.

But you said the sunset looked more realistic on the version you retouched. The version I posted was an attempt at keeping some "drama" in the sunset while correcting the levels for the face tones.
