YouTube video from Lincoln
Just put this up, in case anyone's interested.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xd3KI5a1rvE
Don't know where the CF card w/the first day's runs is, but will post when I find it.
What a crappy race it was for me: had to stand on my first run Tues. and came into the 3rd run on Wed. w/cones on the first run and a DNF on the 2nd, waaaay out of the trophies. At least I salvaged 2nd. :unimpressed:
Ironically, the car worked perfectly all week; Christine is very wily: she knew I wanted to sell her if I had won, so she ran great yet used her secret powers to drain me of the mojo to win, thereby nearly assuring yet another year of her torture upon me and more opportunities to kill me (the 2nd gen. 2-piece rotors, knock on wood, are working great, btw.).

I was wondering if you would have sold her with a win ... so good and bad I guess. We WERE rooting for you to finally get your just reward for your years of dedication to the class ...

Thanks Mako. I did feel that support, which made the result all the more painful. That's three seconds in ProSolo CSP class standings and two @ Nationals. :unimpressed:
Christine was perfectly capable of winning, it was me that screwed up. :mrt:

I call him Frazier, because I like to say "Down goes Frazier" when he loses!
I am being Swiss, because when you're as amazing popular as I obviously am, I have so many friends that it becomes difficult to know who to cheer for at Nationals!

Re: YouTube video from Lincoln
You should sell her and get the kart that Eric Nelson is selling. 1/100th the upkeep and parts costs and it's faster. Not to mention you can haul it in the back of the van and go to any of the many So Cal kart tracks and play all day for 45 bucks. Just sayin'.Bill Schenker wrote:Ironically, the car worked perfectly all week; Christine is very wily: she knew I wanted to sell her if I had won, so she ran great yet used her secret powers to drain me of the mojo to win, thereby nearly assuring yet another year of her torture upon me and more opportunities to kill me (the 2nd gen. 2-piece rotors, knock on wood, are working great, btw.).

Re: YouTube video from Lincoln
Sell the car (it's got a great pedigree even if you didn't win this year) and buy a kart. Faster, easier, cheaper...
