If you saved that OPR ... I'll take it. With the heat gun, can I spread it on Karen's Vette tires? I assume I'm saving the tire underneath? :ibrightdea:

I keep seeing the "OPR" that people gathered but I haven't heard anything about the "snakes". At Salina, we would pick up the OPR and the "Salina Snakes" which is the rubber they put in the expansion joints. Sometimes those suckers would whip out and go for course workers! Did you have any "Lincoln Snakes"?

No snakes that I saw.

The joints were in better shape is what I heard from people that were at both sites...

I guess I found the one upside to running street tires at natl this year... No OPR. But maybe that means my "street tires" were not soft enough.

Ok.. then show em my 3rd run.
For the record.... it took till my 3rd run to beat Marshall's first run on Friday, and that was only by a whisker.
( That was a "Atta-Boy" for Marshall. He drove very well at nationals this year! )

Really I just got tired of going through results.. that and our car was broken for the second day of the pro finale so I didn't really want to think about it. :unimpressed:

While Katie is unforgetable, she is in SDR, not CSCC.

Here is the San Diego list...

Gary Thomason SS Trophy
Jason Rhoades SS
Dana Lucas CS
Leslie Cohen STL National Champion
Michael Heinitz STS Trophy
Jason Munchhof STS Trophy
Jason Isley STX Trophy
Derek Punch STX Trophy
Jennifer Isley STXL National Champion
Carl Vanderschuit ASP
Mark Duerst ASP
Henry Botkin ESP Trophy
Sean Goodbody FP
Katy Nicholls SML National Champion
Jeff Kiesel EM National Champion
Mark Kiesel EM Trophy
Shawn Marie Kiesel EML Trophy
Paul Russell F125 National Champion

18 drivers, 5 champions + 8 trophies

By my calculations, 72% of SDR drivers brought hardware back vs. 53% for CalClub. Looks like we are better on average. :D

I personally consider us as one big happy region though.
