Class Assignment: Survey

Post by Tito Sar »

Hi guys/gals. I have an assignment for my Psychology Research Methods class that we conduct a survey and gather information from it. My survey consists of 17 REALLY BASIC questions about our normal driving habits. The survey isn't the most comprehensive of sorts and far from perfect, but if there are any comments that will help then please do! If you have a minute to spare, I'd greatly appreciate it! Thanks! :D

You should add a box for people older than 41,so that they don't get offended, instead of saying others.

No! I apologize for excluding everyone over 41! I will definitely add and diversify the age groups better. In fact it has been edited and it's alright, I am a bastard for letting that question "slip" through my mind. :geek: But thanks very much again everyone! I will definitely enjoy typing a paper of these results.

done.

That being said, I imagine you want to combine the answers from part 1 & part 2 - how is that survey monkey site syncing this?

SurveyMonkey doesn't necessarily combine answers (Not sure). It produces analyzed results per question by the response percent and count. I can also view each of the 24 responses separately and anonymously, which was more than enough from the minimum, and finally, I have to analyze/interpret the answers and conclude the findings. I hope it answers anything.

And why there is two parts is because silly SurveyMonkey limits 10 questions per page for free users.

Also, question 3 has been edited because it was basically the same question as 5. :unimpressed:

I guess as long as it meets your requirements.

I was thinking you were potentially looking to link age and/or sex w/ driving habits (those areas are on different surveys).

Good luck!

Would have been interesting to correlate Traffic Accidents with Age. I had a bunch when I was a "kid" ...

I had both mine before I turned 18.

That may have been an interesting alteration to the questions, as it only asked if we had an accident in the last year. If it were to have asked when (or how old) we were when we last had an accident.

You do have a point. However, the question asks how many accidents total and not in the last year unless you meant tickets then that would made more sense to alteration.

My error. I had taken the quiz a day prior. Either way, a correlation between age & issue (ticket, accident) would potentially be helpful.

I'd be willing to bet amongst this group based upon prior posts.... with age accidents and tickets other than speeding fall, while speeding tickets (or at least speeding citations) rise with age.
