Hey everyone, I need your help!

I have a chance to be entered into the Super Lap Battle Time Attack event as the first ever in history pushrod car (Corvette) to enter this event.

I ran a qualifyer this past weekend and now I need your vote to get me in as your favorite.

Go to this web site and click on the link and go to Tom Barrett and vote for me to be in the Super Lap Battle.

Just click on the name of the driver and another (vote) option pops up. If I recall correctly, you choose Best to make your "vote."

I clicked the "Rate" button (with the radio button to the far right for "Best") on my home computer and it ticked up +1 to 149
Tried to do it on my iPhone but it did not work until I turned WiFi off so it would go through the AT&T network and give me a different external ip address than my PC, and then it ticked up again.

They told me the top person wins which is not good, but this is a spot in the Super Lap Time Attack, he is very fast but his car looks like crap. Pardon my candor.

I just do not see them giving him a spot in the SEMA show to show off the car, it has no rear window, the bank bumper is missing, it is painted flat black and looks like a beat up track car.

The Octane report editor and I have gotten to be pretty good pals and he loves the way my car looks. I think I have a pretty good shot of getting invited to the SEMA Show even it the other guy gets the time attack.

All in good fun anyway.

Hmmmm, remember when Lori Robertson was competing in that online beauty contest against a bunch of very young girls and one of us had the "skills" to, ah, enhance the voting process......................









P.S. Not that Lori didn't have the beauty to win, she also had the driving skills and personality the others didn't. Just seemed like one of the others was getting votes at an outrageous rate so we had to compensate.
