Where can I find the registration rules?

Is this a single day event?
Do I need to be competing in the championship to race on October 25th?

Also read the "Who We Are" pdf file under the Newbie Guide on the Solo2.com site. It will answer a lot of general questions about what we do and how it is done.

One week out, 74 registered, and only 1 person running SK2 eh? Worker chief may want to start figuring out how they are going to combine the groups to get enough workers.

Is Sunday a "normal" Champ event, it seems that way from the flyer.

Does anyone have the run/work info? Does not seem to be on the flyer, unless I was supposed to click somewhere.

:)

SCNAX cup weekend - use gate 6 - different entrance

Recently got a note from AAA speedway about the upcoming race weekend:

We are having a large community festival in our Fan Zone on Sunday, October 25th. Due to the large levels of traffic expected trying to enter Gate 1 on Cherry Ave on Sunday, we would like SOLO to use our Gate 6 entry point on San Bernardino Ave.

Map to alternate entrance:

Whoa.... Not paying too much attention because we're blowing off this month....

But notice a seriously confusing issue with Formula Junior.

The RunOrder says FJ runs first which would properly follow our current rotation.

However.... The event Flyer gives these directions:

Lunch time - Jr Karters run

Lunch time - after Jr Karters. Course will be open for walking. Duration of lunch depends on the time the third run group finishes running.

We need a clarification and the word needs to get out. Juniors can not run without course walks and meeting with a Youth Steward which makes clarity on the schedule important.

Oh yeah.... And the language in the flyer about both parents having to sign is just for drivers or those seeking and annual waiver. One parent is fine for a single weekend spectating participant.

Thanks for pointing this out Steve. I'm not too familiar with the FJ policies. Can the meeting with the Youth Steward (KJ) happen during the end of the third group in order to get them to walk course as soon as the third group is done running?

About the waivers, I just copied what was in the previous flyers. Thanks for the clarification.

Possibly, but KJ or the parents may be running or working during the 3rd heat.

Was there some specific reason for lunch? Was that discussed with KJ and a decision to try something new? Because by our normal schedule, Juniors would run first this month. Up until maybe two days ago I was structuring our family's weekend plans around being there early Sunday morning and leaving immediately after. Doesn't matter to me anymore as Stacey doesn't want us to attend. I don't mind changes, just want to make sure they get properly communicated.

Thanks!

Last event I remember at AAA Speedway (phew, that was a while ago since I didn't make it out last month), Jr Karters ran at lunch. If due to regulations/decisions I wasn't informed about/parents preference, the Youth Steward thinks it's best to run them at Heat 0 (FJ's ran Heat 0 at Nationals), then we can make that work too. I don't see a problem either way. Ever since the flyer was posted, I had not heard otherwise.... maybe KJ can chime in here. We'll make it work with however the Youth Steward thinks is appropriate.

FJs alternate each event between first thing in the morning and first thing after lunch. Last event was lunch, so the Run Groups now show FJs running first thing in the morning.
