Newb all the way around.

Post by Nathan Wright »

Hey all,
I'm pretty much new all the way around. Just transfered from NC to San Clemente (talk about a trade up in weather!) and I'm still pretty unfamiliar with the area, but learnin fast.

I just bought a Roush Mustang a few months back as a gift to myself and wanted to improve my drivin skills (and have some fun). I just found out about the event goin on right after Thanksgiving and plan on goin to that. Other than that I dont know where to start...i.e. safety equipment required, etc. I'll admit that I dont know what I dont know.

Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Lots of good basic info on our Home Page, Newbie Guide, upper right: http://www.solo2.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Stop by CA Speedway, Fontana, Green Lot this Sunday for our Practice ... get free rides with us, and you can learn everything pretty much in one day. I think the event is full so you won''t be able to get in yourself as a driver.

Good advice. This Sunday is a practice (a bit unusual for a Sunday) and the ride-alongs are free. And very valuable. There is a map on how to get to the green lot on the http://www.solo2.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; site.

He's not available this weekend.

He also was not sure where his car is classed since the since Roush ads the supercharger.
