You have twice the HP, twice the powered wheels and not twice the weight; is that a good start?Marshall Grice wrote:so Bill, explain that CSP/BSP argument to me again...?Bill Schenker wrote:[

And he's got twice the CG height, too! Oh, wait, that's bad.Bill Schenker wrote: You have twice the HP, twice the powered wheels and not twice the weight; is that a good start?
And a strut suspension (right?). And I wonder the difference in brakes (i.e. any bad brake/abs behavior in either car?).
Actually, it would be very interesting to compare data from both cars on the same course and see the locations and magnitudes of the time diffs considering how close the raw times are.

Re: Quality of E85 in So Cal
The CSP MIata has more cornering grip than the BSP Evo, so on a course consisting of sweepers only(no straights) the Miata should be faster. The Evo is just a little better in Slalom, Braking and much better in Acceleration. Overall, the Evo should be faster on the majority of Solo 2 courses, but not by much.

Uh....... I think I would put my money on a CSP Miata over a BSP Evo in a slolom. In fact, I bet we could put together data that would prove it.George Doganis wrote:The CSP MIata has more cornering grip than the BSP Evo, so on a course consisting of sweepers only(no straights) the Miata should be faster.
