Whoever ends up being Chief of Waivers... I've been doing that the last few events and have been working on documenting procedures & rules. There are a few updates especially on minor waivers.
Email me & I'll send you the doc file I've been creating. kittiz2005 at yahoo - com.
No, Mako -- you do NOT need to supercharge your new Miata! ...cuz now it's my turn to take it to the track :)
hmmmm... it is no longer "new" -- is it time to get faster?

Unless someone else steps up, I'll chair the event. I created and posted the fliers.

Thanks to those of you who have volunteered to help out. Without you, events would not be possible. The chiefs have been chosen and are on the flier. If you need any help or advice, don't hesitate to ask. Mike K. you are the Worker Chief for the weekend. If we have any jr. karts wanting to run on Saturday, we need a youth steward. Please let me know. Stacey Miller will be the act as youth steward on Sunday.

Thank you all for offers to help. I may be hitting you up as time time grows close for help with the event. Keep in mind that if you'd like to help out at events, we are always looking for new people to get in involved. If it doesn't work out for this event, keep in mind we have another Eboard event coming up the beginning of March at which you might be able to assist.

Thanks again for the offers

-George

BTW, if any juniors would like to participate at the practice, let us know ASAP. As of now, we don't have a youth steward for the practice. So if you're coming, I'd appreciate you arranging this. Thanks

Thanks Max. I enlisted Joey to do it. It's time for him to step up.

Does this mean that the FJs will have their own course set up, or would they run at lunch?

Juniors will be running at lunch. They will, however, be able to set up a dedicated course at the CASOC event at the end of March, parents willing.

Everyone make sure you take a look at the run order, it isn't just an incremented version of last times. The groups were re-balanced with a 5 group system. Morning runs and works like we have been doing to for the last year or so, afternoon is just 2 groups so when you aren't running you're working.

I edited the first post to put in links to everything. Run order: http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key= ... utput=html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

the flyer says:
Make checks payable to: SoCal Solo

We have always made checks out to: SoCal Solo2
Don't we have to keep it that way or has the business account name changed?
No, Mako -- you do NOT need to supercharge your new Miata! ...cuz now it's my turn to take it to the track :)
