Very cool, both Toyo and Bridgestone (BS) pay contingency for Divisionals as well.
Dood, are you gonna eat that?

Sorry, I'm not into the umbrella girl thing. I'd rather have Jon Lugod hold the umbrella for me. :D

Come on, Ken wasn't even Top 5. Bill Bounds/Tim Smith hold the bar, you need to think bigger Flores. It's nice to see a shock manufacture is paying contingency!

When are one of the ST tire manfuacturers going to make a 255/30 or 255/35-17 for all the STR cars to run? Right now Toyo is closest with the 245/35-17, everything 255 in width is at least 25" tall.

Hmm, now there's an interesting size: 255/35-17. Has any manufacturer ever made this size for a "street" tire application?

I think it would be more of a challenge to finish 5th then it would be to finish 1st.

Interesting marketing, it might take someone a couple of years to earn a set of shocks. Since it needs to be redeemed in 30 days, you would need to come in 1st to buy 1 shock at a time. Although, the Berry "AST vending machine" could/will win a set of shocks in a weekend. :D

Don't know if I'll be at the tour or not... Probably.

A set of gabriel hijackers would have been better than most of last year.

well it says you must submit, not redeem, within 30 days. it also says you can't combine certificates, which pretty much eliminates the "ast vending machine" action.

I would imagine the intent is to keep people from selling certificates. Brian is a sharp guy, I am sure in the case of Berry Family racing (or the like) he would do something that was mutually beneficial.

I doubt they'll be swappin Ohlins for AST's anytime soon, but AST does make other stuff. Airjacks anybody?

Airjacks would be cool on the FP car, since you have the air hook-up at the motorhome. 8-)
