Re: Lone Pine
Last I heard, they were looking at other options for sanction/insurance. I'm not sure where they ended up or if they have any answers yet. Sorry.

Re: Lone Pine
The Lone Pine Committee does plan on having an event, but like KJ said getting a sanction/Insurance is the issue. They would prefer not to use SCCA due to what they feel is excessive regulation, but who knows.

Re: Lone Pine
More people went off-course w/ the Lone Pine event as an autox rather than a time trial... }:) ... I'll remember to slow down appropriately this year... maybe.Rick Brown wrote:The Lone Pine Committee does plan on having an event, but like KJ said getting a sanction/Insurance is the issue. Totally looking forward to it, I have a much more luxurious ride to take on the trip now!

Re: Lone Pine
Nasa RallySport insurance cost me about $500 last year for a rallycross I put on. But I see they also do sand drags and motorcycle stuff, so maybe they would write LPTT. The guy in charge of this stuff lives up here in Ridgecrest and I can put you guys into contact with him. Can't hurt to ask.
