Long, repetitive but interesting. Makes a point on using synthetics. I always thought synthetics seemed too thin, but that's a good thing it turns out, vis a vis starting lubrication/pressure.

What the Ferrari guy says about thinner oil is what I have been told by the guy at Redline who answers the tech questions. Since I started autox the conventional wisdom (from the Vette folks) was to use M1 10-30 (for Socal). But I am thinking of going to Redline 5w-30 or 5w40. Also there is the zddp stuff, Redline still has the recommended amount in it. M1 has been "purified" I believe.
