Someone at the El Toro event at the end of March indicated there was a dealer, I believe in Huntington Beach that stock performance seats. I am looking at repalcing my Corvettes stock seats to improve the way my harness fits and to gain about 3" in head room so I can run with the roof on if need be. Anyone know of a dealear that stocks / installs perforance/racing seats in Orange County?
Thanks

Re: Seats
Make SURE you get the correct install base for your car from Subesport. I spent two days in HELL trying to make my new seat fit my WRX using the Impreza mount ... which after I double checked/called them they insisted was the correct model. On day two I discovered on-line that there was a WRX kit that I should have been using!

Re: Seats
Art,
Just to be clear, aftermarket seats aren't allowed in Stock classes, including our local SK classes. They're legal in ST, SP, SM, P and M though.
SubeSports is the convenient seat provider, but you should check out the threads here for some additional consideration:

I have Cobra seats in my M3 and really like them. They're the most comfortable shell I've personally experienced, though I have to admit I'd like to sit in the RaceTech seats. I've never had a problem with the Cobras, but I may have one right now: a rather heavy duty zip-tie fastener was on the ground beneath my driver seat last weekend. On one end is a metal clamp that looks like it fastens the upholstery. Reaching beneath the seat, it feels like there's another one of these stretched across the bottom near the front of the seat. I'm hoping SubeSports has these fasteners available and will sell them individually.
Good luck with your options.
Mike

Re: Seats
Ah we may have hit a stumbling block. So if I change my seats I would move out of BSP?
