Possibly Offering Shared Practice Position AND Our Miata

Post by Mako Koiwai »

We're trying to figure out how we could get our Miata out to El Toro on Saturday. In exchange for a driving it out to El Toro a GAL would be offered a Shared Entry into our Practice this coming Saturday May 1st. Our Miata is located in South Pasadena. This gal would get to practice with the Miata and then would have to deliver it back to our place, Sat or Sunday. If she wants to race it on Sunday, that is a possibility, but the Toyo R1R's might be toast by then. We're staying over in the El Toro area Saturday evening, so we would figure out something with the key.

Karen wants to do this to encourage a women driver while also wanting to do some laps in it ourself.

To gals: The car does have standard transmission, but once you get it into 2nd you shouldn't have to shift again. I WON'T be upset if you are still learning to drive a stick and grind the gears a bit :)

...and you ALL can forget any suggestions of Bill, Max, or any other guy wearing a skirt! :gpower:
No, Mako -- you do NOT need to supercharge your new Miata! ...cuz now it's my turn to take it to the track :)
hmmmm... it is no longer "new" -- is it time to get faster?

I think Angie Kern is looking for a ride, she might be in your neck of the woods too.
