I may need to be replaced as S.S.S. this weekend

Post by Bill Schenker »

I just got word today that I may need to work both days this weekend - good for my Miata Fund, not good for having an S.S.S. this weekend.

Is there any SSS out there that may be able to take over if needs be?

TIA

Tom T. had to drop out ... and the hosting club isn't suppose to use one of their own members as SSS. Ekstrand is already the JR. Safety Steward

SSS gets a FREE ENTRY INTO THE PRACTICE !!!

Since Tom T DID drop out for work ... does that mean you are definitely out as our SSS for the weekend?

Do we have a list of SSS's?

Is Brian Chemielewski, Steve Eguina or Will Kalman SSS's ... they're already attending our Practice. Will needs to be looking after his Jr. Karter kids though ...

In an emergency, ie. no one else steps forward, can SSS Shauna Rios be our SSS, even though she's a Team Blew member. Seb and I already have Chief hats.

We try and avoid that, but I don't know there is any rule against it.

I just spoke to Bill. He does not know if he will make it or not, yet.

If we're forced to use Shauna, I could always safety the course with her just as a check on Team Blew craziness. There is no SCCA requirement, just something we do locally. I can't be "of record" because I'm the Youth Steward. But I can be a second pair of eyes to quell our local concerns.

Will isn't an SSS. I'll be there all weekend even though I'm not running the practice (nor am I trying to get in the practice).

Bill just called - his work was canceled and he WILL be here this weekend to be SSS. Tom is coming back too, not sure if he wants his practice spot back though.

I'm still out for the practice, I just have too much to do although now I might be able to at least make it Sunday. And since I haven't been out since Jan, I'd really like to make it out. This is becoming my lost year, I guess....... :(
