FJA. FJB. or FJC?

I find the most sale ads in EKARTINGNEWS online forums. Also try LAKC.org classifieds.

Definitely check out the FJ rules and ask questions.

Your son would be in FJB from 8-11.

Either a Cadet or Fullsize chassis (fullsize chassis is usually pretty darn big for an 8yo).
Engines could be a Comer K80 or a restricted Yamaha KT-100 or restricted Briggs WF.

The rules are pretty particular. And FJB's, especially 8yo's typically have to add a lot of ballast to make minimum weight.

In July and August I imagine we'll be doing separate junior courses during those events. Big seat time opportunity for the kidlets.

Robert-

There is a yahoogroup for SCCA Solo Formula Junior. Not a lot of traffic, but a great place to ask questions. Most of the top national FJers parents are on board.

I think you send an email to this
scca_solo_formula_jr-subscribe@yahoogroups.com

Or check out the webpage and click join group
