Help!
I tried to buy four new tires from Tire Rack today online. My sizes are on back order. I even called them, and the guy said it would be 10-12 WEEKS!
Anybody know where I could buy (2) Kumho V710 295-40-17 and (2) 315-35-18 new tires?
Appreciate the help.

Just curious...did you go to TireRack directly or through our link at the bottom of the message boards?Tom Dobyns wrote:I tried to buy four new tires from Tire Rack today online.

Re: Kumho Tires
I tried several times to use the link at the bottom of the page. It would cut me off half way through the process. It happened, as I mentioned, several times. Finally I just went online, and ordered the tires directly. But, then when it said that they were on back order, before finalizing the transaction, I called the 800 number. Ultimately, no success...and frustration.

Tom ... that's why we ended up having to buy Hoosiers over a month ago. They're actually holding up pretty well. I would refrain from having a co-driver however ...
Brian R. explained to me last weekend that because of problems with the Dollar, or is it a problem with everyone else's currency, that Kumho makes a LOT more money selling everywhere but the U.S. at the moment ... so yeah, don't hold your breath.

Well there was that time last year where The Tire Rack was out even though the warehouse had them in stock ... but apparently there was an inventory mistake and the 710's got over looked. Might have been Brian that actually went to the warehouse and found them?

Now that hurts Mako. Just for your info. not that I should share it with you, but I pay big $$$ to co-drive with Tom. And for that he also lets me win. Now go back and turn some more bolts on your car.Mako Koiwai wrote:Tom ... that's why we ended up having to buy Hoosiers over a month ago. They're actually holding up pretty well.
