Anyone local that was unable to stay to receive their trophy at the awards ceremony, they will be available at the next event (PSCC Championship on July 17-18). If you don't pick them up then or make other arrangements, they will be recycled.

I know this isn't quite what you had in mind, but I have this: http://pathtracks.com/users/4242/paths/116517" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Who knew El Toro had such dramatic elevation changes! (or that iPhone GPS elevation was so crappy)
Looks funny if you turn on the sat. image...

Driving through the parking lot section was challenging!!
Yeah, I noticed that too. They must've recently changed the satellite image, because it wasn't like that about a month ago. Looks to be a PCA event maybe? Most of them look like Porsches to me, but it's somewhat difficult to tell from space

EDIT: Found out you can look up the date of the image in Google Earth, the picture was taken November 15th, 2009. Anyone know what was going on that day?

EDIT 2: It was a PCA OCR event http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qeZTS9yW6dc. Darn curiousity...

Interesting to see how our tires get pulled away from the wheels

If you think our course was long ... it was taking Steve Abbott 1:53 to get around the Porsche Club course at Pomona on Sunday!

There is a saying in the Porsche ax circles that amounts to none of us race Porsches if it weren't for the Porsche club events ;)

Aaron moves from 10th to 4th.
Grinning Robert moves from 20th to 7th (or 9th with Mike and Aaron also moved up with true paxes).

Thanks to all the people that helped to make this event possible. It was a great event, well organized, better than some SCCA National Tour I have attended.

Special Thanks to Mike Simanyi !!!

These were the best 2 autoX courses I have driven in my life. I have been 3 times to the SCCA Nationals, and ran a few Tours, plus multiple SCCA, NASA, BMW, PCA autocrosses in multiple cities across US. The combination of sweepers, slaloms and the speed made for a huge difference, I only remember this driving feeling from last year's Nationals and the 2006 PCA Zone 1 autocross.

Here are the Local Divisional results that I will be using to calculate local points.

Plese review them and make sure I didn't miss anything/anyone. For example:
---Points card numbers?
---People moved to a different class?
---People who should have been moved?
---Indexes changed for those running up a class?

Please PM or Email me ASAP with any concerns. As soon as I feel comfy that these are correct, I can update the year end point totals.

I have to say Rad is right. Here it is Wed and I can't get rid of that euphoria from the weekend. I really don't remember that ever happening before. I don't care what position I came in, I just had too much fun out there. I'm sure it's due to many factors but that course was out of this world fun to drive. It just doesn't get better than this.

Yeah, I'll have to do that before I can do the overall points. But I'll wait to see if there are any class corrections.

Remember that PAX'ed results need Teams, at least for the top 20 or so, for John to calculate Team Points.

Alex Muresan said to me that he wanted to stay there all week and drive the course over and over again, timers or not. I have to agree. Epic courses!

Rick, thanks for noticing that. I hadn't really looked at the class results yet, so didn't notice that the teams weren't on the results. Yes Christine, I will need a column for the teams all the way thru too.
Thanks,
John

Thanks Christine for doing all the work. Are we discounting the out-of-towners from the results? Especially those who finished first in class, and as a result will affect the points.

Any non-points card holders were removed from the results used to calculate the points for this event only.

Oh...Saturday, 701 SK1-FS. I think the index used was the normal FS without the street tire index.
