WTBorrow: Tow Rig for Nats

Post by Kurt Rahn »

Well, it sounds like the tow rig I was going to use to tow the car to nationals has been stolen, and there's no realistic hope for recovery in time for the trip. Anyone got a tow vehicle that can tow about 3500 pounds combined of car and open trailer?

Oversteer is better than understeer because you don't see the tree you're hitting.

U-haul rental? Even the base V-8 GMC truck will easily haul that.

So is Kurt Williams towing a car out with Bill's van, or taking just the van?

Bill's car, last I heard, will be on his trailer towed by his van by a paid driver.

That sounds like the autocross equivalent of "no white shoes after Labor Day."
