Gate workers needed for practice and championship

Post by Henry Bjoin »

We need gate workers for Saturday and Sunday. Get your work assignment done early while it's cool
This will count as your work assignment for the day. For the practice, we need one worker from 7:00 AM until 9:00 AM
All course workers are scheduled to work two one hour shifts, so it's the same total time, and you can take your
practice runs anytime you want to.

For the Championship we need three workers #1 from 6:45 AM until 8:00 AM # 2 from 7:45 AM until 9:00 AM and # 3 to cover the
lunch hour.
You must be an SCCA member to accept this job

Thanks,

Henry

Hi Henry,
I just signed up for the Saturday practice. If I get in, I would be willing to work gate if I get in.

I am available for either job, let me know if you want me. Only thing I need is early tech. I ran afoul last time when I reported for work and we were closed before I could get my car up.

Thanks

Henry, I am in the second run group, third work group on the assignement chart. As long as I make my run group I am cool with you using me where you need me. Lunch is fine, morning is fine.

Thanks

OK, so far we have Sean on Saturday morning from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM. Sean don't worry about Tech I'll make sure you have a chance to get that done.
Art, if you would do lunch on Sunday that would be great.
Mr Lugod your on for 7:45 to 9 on Sunday - Thanks

We still need one more gate worker on Sunday for the 6:45 to 8:00 slot

Thanks,

Henry

I'm going to request that gate people help with the pit organization at this first event. I'd like you to keep an appropriate area around the gate free of parking. And I may request you direct people with large rigs & trailers (like mine) to park in designated areas to keep from jamming everything up. Since I may be losing some course area to the back slope, I want to be efficient with the pit set-aside. I'll let you know.

OK Bill, I'll be there tomorrow for course setup so we'll make a plan then.

Thanks,

Henry

Got it covered for Sunday lunch. I assume it's ok if I set up my EZ Up at the gate for shade?

Make sure you have a way to tie it down very securely.

I use my street tires and wheels at each corner of the EZ UP as the weights. So Far they have worked really good.
