The grip was really good! I was thinking it would be glass like as well. That uphill on camber sweeper before the finish slalom was a ton of fun. Even more fun with rcomps! I look forward to future events as long as it's a lot cooler than this past weekend.Sebastian Rios wrote:While my butt dyno is not very well tuned, and I drove a different car at Lincoln then at Norton, I too thought grip was better at Norton. I was very impressed with the grip level. I expected one step up from ice racing.

I liked Norton a lot despite the heat, but I am worried that if we had a full compliment of competitors instead of the lite turnout we had, there might not be room for everyone in the paddock without making the course much smaller or having a cross over.

Bill Martin (thank you Bill) did a great job on both courses at San Bernardino and I and most everyone I've talked with really enjoyed both the courses and the venue We've already been discussing how we can squeeze a bit more out of the lot if we return. As of now, a return to San Bernardino is not on the schedule.Arthur Grant wrote:I liked Norton a lot despite the heat, but I am worried that if we had a full compliment of competitors instead of the lite turnout we had, there might not be room for everyone in the paddock without making the course much smaller or having a cross over.
