The leadership should also consider the hand that feeds them. Does more cash flow come from the member dues and event fees, or from web advertising commissions? There are some folks who could perhaps use a more relaxed approach to informing people that use of the Tire Rack banner ads benefits the club.

I stepped back a bit on this thread to see where the chips would fall & many thanks to the fellow autoxr's who could plainly see that I was just trying to let EVERYONE know about a good deal that was only available for 2 days. I bet I'm not the only person on this forum who doesn't win a lot of tires & who is trying to balance a race budget, figuring out where the money will come from for my next set of tires. I've been at this game for 8 years mostly SDR but a lot of CSCC in the past & it's always been with the attitude of FRIENDLY but tough competition.

I am not a paranoid type, at all, but it seems that it got unfriendly when I posted about the damage ethanol can do to older engines fuel system & that got deleted, then I post about a good tire deal and that gets sarcastically derided by VIP's in the region, and I am like WTH did I do?

I don't have a thin skin & trust me, I'll keep posting, I am just trying to figure out who put a target on my back & why.

Is this some kind of Halloween trick? }:)
