i wanted to attend this event below,

i read some requirements and so on, i see that a helmet is recommended but not required please correct me if I'm wrong. I need a vehicle check also, does this mean i should come early or do i need to schedule an appointment? is there anything else i need other then driver license etc..?

Hi Matt,
As far as entering the practice, keep checking the main board until the link for the event goes active. You'll then have event details and an address to send the entry check to. Every club within CSCC has different restrictions on who can enter, but many keep some slots open specifically for novices and newcomers.
As for the inspection, or "tech," that happens the morning of the event. Helmets are definitely required; usually, there are loaner helmets available. There is lots of good information for newcomers on the homepage links.
