A. Exhibitor Categories. To exhibit in the Show, Exhibitor must meet at least one
of the following criteria:
i. Manufacturers are those that have products to display which are manufactured,
packaged or marketed under Exhibitor’s proprietary trade style or brand name and
are automotive related. Companies that exhibit as a Manufacturer can only
display those products for which it is the manufacturer and exclusive rights holder
to distribute the product(s) in the United States, and must furthermore comply with
Section 7.E. below.
ii. A company that has an exclusive contract or agreement to sell a particular
proprietary brand of products in the United States shall be considered an Exclusive
Distributor. Exclusive Distributors must provide Show Management documentation
to substantiate compliance with these criteria. Exclusive Distributors must submit a
Letter of Appointment from the manufacturer on the manufacturer’s letterhead,
within fourteen days (14) of submission of the Exhibit Space Rental Agreement.
Exhibit Space Rental Agreements from Exclusive Distributors will not be
considered accepted unless and until a valid letter of appointment is received by
Show Management. Only those products, brands, trade names, logos or
intellectual property for which the Exclusive Distributor has the exclusive rights in
the United States may be displayed in the exhibit. Products, services or brands for
which an Exhibitor is a non-exclusive seller may not be displayed, referred to in
line cards, catalogs, signs, flyers or brochures, or depicted anywhere in the exhibit.
iii. Service Providers may exhibit given that the service is provided to, or for, the
automotive industry (Printers are not permitted as exhibitors). Notwithstanding the
foregoing, Show Management has the sole and exclusive right to accept certain
companies that may conflict with this provision if it finds such acceptance is in the
best interest of the Show.
iv. Warehouse distributors may exhibit its service as a warehouse distributor, but

Lastly, there is Enthusiast Opinion Leader Program for folks savvy with social media. As a trade-only event, media credentials are reserved exclusively for working members of the media, including print, broadcast, radio or online. In order to maintain a B2B environment conducive for buyers and sellers to do business, media credentials are only available to media that are related to the automotive industry, or those that cover small businesses or another relevant topic.
Public relations and marketing personnel representing manufacturers do not qualify for media credentials. Video production companies that are representing exhibitors or those that are charging companies to be covered do not qualify for media credentials.
Approved individuals who abuse their media privileges or who misrepresent themselves in obtaining their media passes may risk having their credentials revoked, and their names banned from attending the SEMA Show in future years.
Individuals who have been approved for media credentials in the last four years can use their unique alumni number or email address to register and qualify for media credentials. There is no need to re-submit qualifying materials in this case.
New applicants will need to submit qualifying materials, such as business cards, bylined articles, video or radio clips, links to articles posted online, etc. (see below).
Opinion Leader Badges are only good for Friday. The program is intended for automotive enthusiasts and opinion leaders who are active in car clubs, automotive websites/forums, and social media. Applicants and guests must be 16 years of age or older.

One of our SEMA traditions is to have dinner at the Brazilian Steak House.
