F-1 Tire Testing
Last week Vettel qualified his Renault on pole in Abu Dhabi at 1.39.394, today's fast lap on the new Pirelli F-1 tire at Abu Dhabi was 1.40.170 By Ferrari's Massa. They have another day of testing tomorrow.

Massa's qualifying time was 1:40.202.

I was just comparing the fastest lap in qualifing vs. the fastest lap of the new tire on the same circuit in practice. If a new tire right out of the gate is this close on the first day of practice that's good for F-1. Now if the durability is there that would be nice.
