Wheel Repair / Refinishing

Post by Collin Webster »

Hello all,

does anyone know of a good wheel repair / refinishing service in Orange County? I have a set of used RX-7 wheels that are nice aluminum but have some small scratches. I want to get them cleaned, re-polished, and then clear coated. There is the outside chance we'll end up painting / coloring them before finish coating them. Anyone have a lead?

BTW - This is for the new car in the paddock - a 2010 Honda Civic GX. No, they won't make it faster, but perhaps make it look a little less like an appliance as it cruises the freeways!

Thanks,

Are the wheels raw aluminum or clear coated?
If they're clear coated, are the scratches deep enough for your fingernail to fall into them?
