I think that was the year Christine was instructing Theresa in the Evo.

I assume they would.

MotorsportReg now shows 35 entrants and 6 instructors.

What's the story WRT non-driving guyz? A friend of mine from work will be driving my car. Can/should I come along as a pit crew/course worker or is the event intended to be "gals only".

Guys sponsor the gals by working while they are learning. This does not mean that any lady would be turned away if they do NOT have a sponsor, but if they don't then there is a risk of being short on workers. There tend to be a few generous, wonderful guys from the region that aren't officially sponsoring someone so it usually works out ok. So we will definately want/need/appreciate your help. The guys that are sponsors get to take a couple of runs at the end of the day to try to match the gal's time.
No, Mako -- you do NOT need to supercharge your new Miata! ...cuz now it's my turn to take it to the track :)
hmmmm... it is no longer "new" -- is it time to get faster?

I need to make sure that everyone understands that there are 15 instructors confirmed for this event. I am counting on all of you for the event tomorrow.

The "Board" had requested that instructors register for the event using the discount code. Apparently, at the time of the message, only six had done so. It is not mandatory for instructors to register.

Confirmed instructors and "specialty":
1. Carol Beach-Flarherty (RWD)
2. Christine Berry (RWD/AWD)
3. Lisa Berry (RWD/FWD)
4. Theresa Berry (RWD)
5. Leslie Cohen (RWD/FWD)
6. Mindi Cross (FWD)
7. Yuki Haneda (RWD)
8. Beverlee Larsson (RWD/AWD)
9. Lily Liu (FWD)
10. Jo Ann Lynch (RWD/FWD) one student only
11. Stacy Miller (FWD)
12. Nicole Nagler (FWD/RWD)
13. Christine Newcomer (RWD)
14. Lisa Severy (RWD)
15. Diana Waer (FWD)
16. Karen Zaterman (RWD)

"Are you accepting walk-ups?"

The answer is yes.

We were encouraging pre-registration because I want to assign students to instructors, figure out groups and grid assignments, etc. tonight - to save time and get the event started on-time. I give the assignments a lot of thought. It is not random, or easy.

Again, walk-ups will be accepted.

@Lisa Severy---Stacey will be there. She doesn't read the board, and with my grandfathers death last month we've been out every weekend taking care of things and I didn't keep her caught up on what was happening or expected.

@Steve Collins---Sponsors who work typically take two laps at the end of the day without benefit of course walk to try and "beat" their girls time. If you do...Expect some phantom cones to show up in your "results". ;) Its a lot of fun. For couples its also traditional for the "losing" sponsor to take the girl out to a nice dinner. This all coming from a guy so it is officially unofficial info. ;)

"Tech opens for Run Groups 1 and 3 only"

I have no clue. This is NOT correct This statement is not applicable to the Ladies School. We need everyone there to get through tech at 7 AM. I guess that the person responsible for posting the information left what is normally put out for a championship.
