In Novice I think Stanley has 1st locked up, but I am definatley going all out to move up to 3rd. Don't think catching Mr. Wilkins is doable. This has definately been a fun season. 4th would be cool, but 3rd would be the proverbial podium. Since I am a novice I feel free to ask this question of the powers that be, are trophies likely to make it down to 3rd place in Novice?Rick Brown wrote:CSP and Novice are pretty close, too.Steve Towers wrote:Besides the Max/Shaun contest, there are several other classes, such as STXL (the Berry family class), BS, HS among others that are going to require folks to show up and get it done. Good stuff. Luck to all.

Here's a tool you can use to test all of your what ifs http://tinyurl.com/23owmfh" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I put in the top 3 STR drivers as the default data set but works for any other class
just copy (the entire line for each driver) & paste the driver from points pdf result.
Change the points and hit "Load" to see who wins.

Re: 2010 Points Updated!
Looking at HS and the 2010 Supp Rules, it doesn't look like Gene or I would get a year end trophy for 3rd place.
Can someone verify this? I'm a bit confused in the 7.7-7.91 section. Is 7.91 the correct rule for this?: "a trophy shall be given, for a Second Place within 5% of the winner’s total and trophies to all others within 8% of the winner’s totals."
it would be a good battle at the last event though.
Points w/4 drop:
Bob Jardine 889.944
Paul Wehrman 879.233
Michael Smith 798.194
Gene Wehrman 796.597

Points have been updated again!
All of the sheets are marked PRELIMINARY due to the fact that I want to wait to see if there are any objections to the last event results or any of the stuff actually in the points PDFs.

Re: 2010 Points Updated!
Woo Hoo, a [preliminary] "second" place trophy by 3.5 points!
Re: 2010 Points Updated!
Results shows different totals which equals 9.78% for 3rd place in HS, assuming that I remember my elementary school math.Michael Palero wrote:Check out Rick's response here:Michael Smith wrote:Looking at HS and the 2010 Supp Rules, it doesn't look like Gene or I would get a year end trophy for 3rd place.

Are they posted at General > Event Results > 2010 Overall Championship Points > 2010 Individual Points, or are they in a different location?Christine Berry wrote:Points have been updated again!

It was pretty close for the year end. I was able to hold off Gene. It sure sucked driving my car after driving those st civics! Thanks again to all of the HS drivers.

Re: 2010 Points Updated!
Okay, weird. When I clicked on the link on the site, it didn't have the Dec. event listed, but when I downloaded it, it did. I must be having some sort of caching issue.Kurt Rahn wrote:Are they posted at General > Event Results > 2010 Overall Championship Points > 2010 Individual Points, or are they in a different location?
