Yep seems reasonable.

The best explaination of the difference is a video Niki Lauda did years ago explaining driving technique and F-1. It was only produced in VHS and is impossible to find, but was the best example. Essentially did the same thing with a road car a GT car and a F-1 car. Wish I could find a copy.

There is that english video of a street car, sports car (or rally car?) and a F1 at Silverstone. First the street car takes off, a while later the sports car. Mean while the F1 driver is sitting on the side lines reading a news paper. He finally gets in the car and takes off ... and of course still passes the two other cars in the final corner. (Not sure how they dealt with the F1 drivers seat belts ... usually they take fairly long to do up?)

Sounds similar. Would like to see it anyhow.
