Karen and I were blown away by that Award! It's so neat. We were just doing what every enthusiast should be doing and what most of all of you do anyway, help out where one can. But we really do appreciate the acknowledgement.
So that's what happened to that piece of trash. I assumed it just got thrown away. But it DOES make for a neat and memorable trophy. I wish my mom was still here to see it. She would have love it.
Can we pick it up at the motor home?
(We missed the Award Ceremony because we were racing at Buttonwillow. I'll post a separate message about our experience and how it relates to AX'ing)

A well deserved award. A region is only as good as the people behind it and the commitment of those people. Not only where you there contributing at events as Gate, course, and whatever else is needed, but you camera artistry was much appreciated by all and contributed to the further sucess of our region by showing people the detailed excitement of autocross through pictures.
For those that think taking pictures is easy, you must look at what Mako produced and then look at your own to see what artistry is at work.
Don't go away for long. Have a great time on the road.
