Co-drive ?

Post by Tom Berry »

I have an open seat in the Berry Family Racing STX BMW325is for this year. Last year Kurt Rahn drove with us and I am pretty sure that he had a great time doing local and national events and his driving seems to have gotten noticably better.
Call me for more info if you like.

Driving the Bimmer last year was one of the best things I've ever done. The car is a lot of fun and it's nationally competitive. Tom spends a lot of time making sure it's running well and tweaks/upgrades it regularly. In addition, the folks you get to race with (Theresa, Lisa, the occasional Heather, and various guest appearances) are a lot of fun too. And for someone still trying to learn how to drive better, there's no better mentoring situation than to course walk, get random tips from and soak in the knowledge seeping out of Mr. Berry's brain. This is a no brainer! :gpower: :gpower: :gpower:

Its totally the best path to becoming a true "national level" autocrosser.

I'll vouch for the car, it's capable and a lot of fun to drive. I took it to 3rd place in the Super Challenge at the Wendover ProSolo - and they've improved it since then!

BTW, Toby, who knows a smidge about successfully competing in E36 BMWs, helped Tom with a lot of the development work.
