Actually anyone have an OBDI reader. Don't find them very often, and I don't want to spend the $200 for a reader that is OBDI & OBDII, but would like to read/reset some codes on the Corvette.

I got an OBD II code reader at Autozone for about $50. The OBD I readers I've found listed online are specific to two or three models and only display codes via flashing lights. I can get that by jumping the correct pinholes on the diagnostic port with a paper clip and counting the CEL flashes. Just did that with my '93 Toyota Pickup.

The OBD II reader is much more useful for the vehicles that use that system.

I have found a nice reader for $180, that does both OBD1 and OBDII with text readouts rather than flashing lights, but since I have never had a need for one before now, didn't think it was worth the money.

It's pricier than what you're talking about, but in addition to reading and resetting codes, it'a a digital gauge for all the OBD2 parameters, and a fully calibratable trip computer. Gives accurate speed and distance if you've changed your tires or gears, current and trip-average mpg, travel distance left in the tank, stuff like that.

You can also get a wifi adapter for your car then use a phone app to read it.
