Other than San Diego, El Toro, and Fontana.....
Where do they Autocross in other parts of California?
Is there anything organized for regular events in Central California? How about Northern California? I have a friend who lives in San Luis Obispo.....any options for him?

Corvette Club used to run at Santa Maria airport. This article is outdated, but maybe there is a chance still in Lompoc.
American Autocross Series, and UFO Run at Marina Airport in Marina (Monterey County). Further north is SF Chapter of SCCA.

Camarillo airport. Went there once to an autocross put on by the friendly members of the local Corvair club.

914 club puts on a two day event (The 914 Shootout) at Marina airport every year. I think all car types are invited, though. I also heard of one in Fresno recently.

The Cal Poly Sprots Car Club used to put on regular events on campus. I don't know if they still do that. There was also a club in town that put on events at the Madonna Inn parking lot and a local shopping center.

All great info and appreciated.
Any other suggestions?
I checked the Vette club's website, and they have three autocrosses this year at the local college.
I'll start investigating the others.
Much thanks.

I miss Point Mugu when we used to have events there in the middle of summer. Weather was usually much cooler there

There were a few events held at Lemoore last year. I don't know if they will be repeated. I think it was the Fresno chapter of the SCCA that hosted, at least one of the events.

You don't need autoxing in Central Cali, they have all these nice mountain roads... }:)
It's only once a year & it's further than Fontana from SLO, but there is a decent sized group who comes from SLO/SB area to the Lone Pine event each year.
Camarillo autox was a very small course, but it was still fun for what it was.

I've been in FPC Lompoc. The prison isn't that bad. Don't spend too long in the showers.

The Corvair Club is having an event in Camarillo airport in April. They Autocross there in April and September. Porsche Club of America- Santa Barbara Region autocrosses 4 times/ year- usually 2 times/year in Santa Barbara at Earl Warren Show grounds and 2X/yr at Camarillo. "Google" PCA SBR and Ventura County Corvairs for the information. Both Clubs put on excellent events, lots of runs and include lunch with the cost of the event.
KJ Christopher was supposed to check out another possible site in Ventura County - I don't know if he has followed up or not. It would sure be nice to get at least one event site out West here!
