I have tried to register twice now and it won't let me pre-register for the event. It says I have to purchase a temporary membership. Can someone please register me for the event? Also, I won a free practice entry for this event at the Banquet. This also needs to be addressed.

Thanks - Renee

According to the website your SCCA membership expired on 2/28 which is why it is asking for you to get a weekend membership. MotorsportReg automatically verifies memberships with the SCCA. If you have sent it in and SCCA just hasn't updated yet, you can go ahead and register, just don't pay online. Pay at the event and ignore the temp membership. Or wait a week and see if SCCA gets updated.

I responded to you through PM about the practice a week ago. Pat had already registered so I just added you to his registration as a split entry. I included in the PM a discount code for him to enter to account for your free entry. I can't edit people's payment info, he has to do it.

First of all my SCCA membership was renewed before February 28th. Second, my email has not been working for several weeks and my computer person (Eddie) doesn't have the time to fix it. I don't pay anything and I take offense to having to buy a temporary SCCA membership.

Renee, Rick said you don't have to buy a weekend membership, you can still register without paying. Now if you wanna call up the SCCA home office and tell them you're offended they will probably be quicker with getting your membership renewal online.
