Yeah, but too bad that Hami had that flat. Always nice to see a new winner. GP2 drivers ruled!

Just finished watching the DVR recording. Holy crap! Three laps to go and Massa goes kerblammo? Wow!

Felt bad for Massa. He's always fighting for respect and his job and this was an amazing race for him. The start was insanely good.
Then to blow up at the end. Sucks. And now he's behind Kimi in the points even though he's really outdriven and outclassed him all year. I see team orders coming to put the final nail in Massa's season.

He's the irony...

Ferrari has a terrible race and Bill Schenker moves up in the standings.

I don't know what you're complaining about; you didn't have Massa as one of your picks, and Kimi finished where you picked him.

Team orders will only work if Raikonnen makes an effort.

i'm kinda curious with what's going on with Kimi.

It's obvious that he CAN drive, and it's obvious with Massa's performance that the car is capable of winning the race. Kimi's in some weird slump.. hope he gets out of it soon.

and Massa really deserved to win that race. it was such a gutsy move off the start, and he held onto the lead the entire time (aside from pit shuffle, obviously).

sidebar to massa blowing up, is that we didn't get to see kimi duke it out with Timo either.. :( that would have made for some final lap excitement..

What goes around.............COMES AROUND SCHENKER!!! I f'ing LOVE IT! I stayed up til 2am to watch this race because Hungary GP always has surprises! And when a Celica is on the podium you know something went wrong. I was sleepy when all of sudden I was WIDE awake when I saw smoke coming out of the back of Massa's car.

I actually felt bad for him considering the bull-in-the-china-shop 1st corner, 1st lap, "outta my way Lewis" run he did, but hey..........like Bob B., said...."this wouldn't have happened when R. Brawn was there". And speaking of Ross, he wants Alonso at Honda next year driving a Civic. So who goes? Button or Reubens?

Th Brawn era (and Schumacher, Todt and Byrne) was arguably the greatest team/driver combo. in F1 history.

Keyword in the above statement is..........was. Now back to the present and you're regularly scheduled programming of the latest Ferrari bumblings, kablamos, offs, shunts, etc.,etc.,etc.,

:) :D

Can't argue with that; almost all of the great drivers before and some since haven't had the same level of focus and cooperation.

I picked:
1. Lewis
2. Heikki
3. Massa

I was very happy when they qualified exactly as I picked :D

when Lewis got a flat, I thought at least I still got 2 right, where 99% of picks got 1 or less right (almost none picked Heikki or Timo).

then Massa went kaboom. worst thing is Kimi gets to be 3rd, so everyone at least got Kimi right.

there goes my change of a big points lead

I was right there with you William. I had your pics too and when the qualified like that, at a track like the "Hungaroring" where it's another version of Monaco, I thought........."trifecta" here I come! But Ferrari goes KABLAMO, Mercedes gets a flat, and a Toyota somehow appears in 2nd.

That's why you run the race on Sundays :)

I had Lewis, Felipe, Heikki. Even with Massa behind Heikki, I figured it might change at Turn 1. Just not quite that much.
