August 4th, 2008, a day that will live in infamy! :gpower:

Unfortunately, at my house today is the first of several dedicated to the eradication of ticks. :mrt: It will involve chemicals and pharmaceuticals, but neither of the kind we know and love. :cry:

man, you guys get all the fun. All I get are sun spiders, scorpions, and Mojave Green snakes.

I finally saw my first Mojave Green in person, it was f.o.r.d. Some one ran over it in the middle of the road :(

Sun Spiders are in the same family as the huge Camel Spiders over in the middle east. But the ones that I've killed in my house have been only 3.5-4" diameter.

edit: here is a link to a nice sized picture http://www.richard-seaman.com/Wallpaper ... Spider.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The "smaller" ones are what snake shot loads are for.
