I know getting parts for them would be practically impossible, but being I'm into Scottish history right now & realize its the only car that I've heard of that was made in Scotland I thought it might be a fun car to play with.

Sp are you saying it could be a worthy project?Rick Brown wrote:I'll take the MG TC in the background. Were quite successful in racing in their time I believe. No, I was talking about the other car in the picture, the MG in the background. I know nothing about the Hillman beyond vague name recognition.Cam Correa wrote:So are you saying it could be a worthy project?Rick Brown wrote:I'll take the MG TC in the background. I'm always on the look out for a steal of a deal on either a Mini or Imp.Ira Cruz wrote:Great car!! My dad used to race one in slalom events. Mini's had a hard time with it since the Imp was rear wheel drive and the engine was also in the rear if I remember. They just modified the carb jets, the exhaust system and fat tires.
Hope you find a good one!

How about a Cortina or a Crosley?Cam Correa wrote: I'm always on the look out for a steal of a deal on either a Mini or Imp.
Thanks for the car porn!
Would seem very cool to me at my mid 40's as well.Max Hayter wrote:
We always had Cortinas... MK 1, Mk2, Mk 3 and a Mk 4! My favorite was the Mk3 GT package. It was blue with a black vinyl roof and had a bunch of gauges down by the shifter like the Camaro. Seemed very cool when I was a kid.
