Did anyone see the Prince Island race? It was my first exposure to an actual flag-to-flag race, and I thought it was awesome! NASCAR brought out of the stone age. Close racing, modern cars, passing, contact, right turns...what's not to love?!? There's even a distinct limitation on extreme aero (hear that, Will?), so the cars rely visibly on mechanical grip. Only thing I'd like to see is more than two marques going at it.

V8Supercars is one of the best racing series on the planet. I have been fortunate to have been involved with the series for the last 5 years as all cars have to run ChaseCams in them. I flew over to Surfer's Paradise to see the Indy race there and spent a week hanging out with the teams and drivers. It is quite different over there compared to racing here.

Funny, having experimented with different cameras over the last year or so, I was wondering what kind of camera had the depth of field, view angle and light sensitivity to get those beautiful shots from inside the car. Guess I have my answer ;)

bah Philip island is ok , but for true V8super cars action , One must watch the bathurst 1000, it's on this sat at four.
