Ladies School Combined with the Practice

Post by Lisa Severy »

The Club leadership and representatives made a decision to "move" the practice that was scheduled for Friday to Saturday, November 26 and combine it with the Ladies School. I want to let everyone know that the Ladies School is not cancelled and that it will also be held on Saturday, November 26 as originally planned. Mike Smith (the practice Event Master), our club leadership and I will be working out the details on how to run this combined event. We kindly request your patience and understanding. The details will be forthcoming. Thank you.

Hi Lisa,
I will be staying in town this Thanksgiving and I am planning on coming to the practice on Sat. (When registration opens). Let me know if I can be of any help for the Ladies School. I can also help
set up on Friday or early Saturday morning.

I volunteered to help with tech for ladies school and gate for practice. Obviously this would be a conflict. I am good with either. Just let me know when you get it sorted I'm flexible.

Conflicts will likely need to be worked out, but at this point assume that chief/assistant positions that were previously worked out for the practice and Autocross Sunday event will continue and that redundant positions for the Ladies School (tech/gate, etc.) will be reallocated/assigned.

I was slated as tech for the Ladies School, and I hereby volunteer myself for wherever I'm needed for the Practice. Just let me know.

Look into my eyes Davin! You're NEEDED at the GATE. You're getting sleepy. Very sleepy. When I snap my fingers, you will be immediately fully alert and will proceed energetically to a Gate shift. 8-)

Ed, don't think I'm ignoring you! The not reason I didn't volunteer is because I (and you, I think!) am in the first run group on Sunday, so I was reluctant to work morning gate. I have to have time to dance my voodoo dance before I start spinning.

As for Saturday, I'll show up early and look for someone to tell me what to do.

I understand. You gotta do what you gotta do. As for run group, SK2 doesn't work for me. At least in ES I'm a contender and there is at least 3 of us entered so far. ES runs after lunch.

I would like all of the Ladies' School participants (instructors, students and volunteers) to have the schedule for Saturday. E-mail me through the SOLO2 site (no PMs, please) and I'll send you one. It is important that everyone be on time and stick to the schedule!
