Solo Xmas Presents ... Sources

Post by Mako Koiwai »

Any recommendations for which detachable racing steering wheel ADAPTER for the Z06 ... and where to buy it? I'm thinking:

I'm guessing for a new racing seat for the ITA Miata we might was well just go to our "local" Werks II shop in Burbank. At least they have a good selection. THIS time I'm paying to have it installed. The three installs that I've done have been the among the worst experiences of my life! Two skinny Miata's and a WRX where I was sold the wrong adapter plate, ie. Impreza instead of WRX.

Labor costs to Lugod, Penske rebuilds, maybe more wheels ... that about blows the Xmas budget!

Mako,

Toby recently recommended this seat to me, saying they do a great seat for the Spec Miatas. Apparently the Miatas are so narrow, fitting seats can be difficult unless you're thin as a rail.

I'm sure John Coffey can install it quite nicely for you: http://www.betamotorsports.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I know all about how hard it is to fit a racing seat into a Miata! Basically one ends up taking a sledge hammer to the tunnel ... so Thank You ... we'll try out that seat ... nice price also. Some aluminum seats require an extra brace from the roll bar/cage to a load spreading plate behind the seat.

It's so easy buying presents for a Gal who Races! Karen never used the Spa Day gift certificate a I got for her .... :lol:

These are the ones that NRG copies. The NRG is "fine", but I'm paranoid.

Think it comes in Silver, Red, or Black. Special editions are blue & orange.

You can guess which color I have ;)
